Our client's wonderful garniture features a mantel clock by Raingo Freres and pair of gilt bronze candelabra in the neoclassical Louis XIV style by the revered French bronzier, Henri Picard, active in Paris from 1839 to 1884..  The candelabra feature seven candlearms raised on top of an Greek athenienne form standard with handles in the key motif, decorated with draped holly swags, on a breakfront plinth decorated with acanthus and scroll motifs, and raised on size toupe feet.  Stamped H PICARD.  Each is in very good condition with rubbing wear to the gilt patina, scratches, nicks and scuffs, and slight bends to the candlearms, all consistent with age, use and good care.  Clock also in good condition with modest rubbing wear and hairlines to the porcelain dial face.
