Take a look at this beautiful cold painted Austrian bronze bird with its original patina and exceptional naturalistic detail. The feathers, the expression, and body form combine to make this a wonderful example of high quality, early 1900s Vienna bronze figural animals. Life size (not a miniature) and measuring 3-5/8 inches high x 4 inches in length with a 3-1/4 inch wing span, this bird looks absolutely real. It is mounted on a metal plinth that is 2 inches in diameter. It can be taken off the base and together with the base weighs 426 grams. This appealing piece is in extremely fine overall condition and retains its original paint.
