Victorian jewelry books show pieces from the 20's like this, but I think this one has a much more detailed and fancy design. THis has stones on top and the sides which really make it sparkle! The fancy open work sides let this rise off your shirt with a degree of dimensionality that make is look even preettier than the photos! This measures 2 1/2" and is well made with good weight to it.
