Pictured is twelve [12] Georg [George] Jensen "Acorn" sterling silver butter spreaders. circa late nineteenth to early twentieth century and measuring approx. 5 3/4" each, these 12 butter spreaders are in fine original condition with no signs of restoration. Impressed with markings: Georg Jensen / Sterling Denmark. Georg Jensen is one of the greatest silversmiths of all time. Soon after he opened his workshop in 1904 his unique flatware, jewelry and hollow ware became world famous. Today Georg Jensen’s silver art is just as alive,vibrant, and as highly desirable as when he first designed it.
