14K Gold & Antique Twisted Beaded Necklace. This was from my husbands great aunt's estate who passed away years 30 ago. She travel extensively thorough the world and lived into her 90's. I have slowly been parting with the collection. Many of her item were items that she inherited. from her ancestors The necklace is 20" long. The largest bead is 1.25" x .75". 14K gold bands fill the deep grove on each bead. It is strung on a bead cord which I assume is silk but there is no way to tell without taking it apart. The twist barrel clasp has an inset that is marked 14K . The necklace has a mellow darkening of color due to the age. Some of pictures are lighter then others because some where taken out door and other where taken indoor with a flash. The true color is a bit darker than the lighter pictures and a bit lighter than the close up that look too yellow. The condition is excellent.
