They are 1.75" wide.    The condition is excellent.      

  from the estate of my great auntie who traveled extensively and brought back a lot of old goodies from far flung exotic locations.   This is just one of the items we found in an old camphor chest I inherited.   They are in very nice condition.    No wear showing no  significant darkening either.
