The John Ford Sale IX by Stack's in May 2005 coin was Very Fine and brought $4600. This is the Miller plate coin.
What you are looking at now is a coin with strong Very Fine reverse detailing, VF 30 or more. The obverse is for some reason very weak. And, the coin is struck 10% off center. A mint error, no extra charge.
