1880's Victorian Cameo rose Rolled GOld mesh

Thousands of tiny rolled rose gold links make up this wide well made Victorian chain from the 1880's. The closeup shows the sides of it and how each one is hand set. The sardonyx cameo has a carved roman head that is full of intricate detail. The fob pendant is really ornate with scrolled ribbon like metal work above the fancy etched bale. It measures almost 1 1/2" long and is on of the largest ones I have seen. There is a hoop clasp on the front as well as the watch clasp that holds the pendant. THe chain on this is so well made it literally slides across your neck like silk. This is quite a beauty with really good quality. Out of all the thousands of tiny links, only two of the little caps are missing. Hard to see but I thought I would mention it.
