Josiah Franklin Prescott was born in New Hampshire on July 2, 1842 and moved to San Francisco in 1864. He was killed in an automobile accident in 1920. This original oil painting is unframed. Signed Prescott 1881 in the lower left. The right hand margin needs some restoratio work to fill in the background which should not be too costly. The right and left tops have slight slits or holes that areeasily repairable. This painting measures 20 inches by 24 inches. Ihave taken the damage and restoration costs into effect with my pricing.
