Our pair of late eighteenth century porcelain ornaments are fashioned as vases with hand-painted reserves depicting courting lovers in pastoral settings, filled with flowers of various species in full bloom. Crossed swords underglaze apparent on one with the incised numbers 2829 58, and remnant of an old paper label. Each approximately 12 by 7 by 4 inches. Each in good condition with some scattered losses to the flower petals.
