Lovely vintage 19 piece Tea and Cake Service Set by Chikaramaachi. Made in Japan of fine porcelain china. Each piece is white with a Blue Luster border with a cluster of fruits in multi color at the center of the border. The tea Pot measures 5 1/4 inches tall with the lid in place and 8 1/2 inches from tip of spout to the outside of the handle. The pot has an inside strainer at the spout .There are 6 cake plates that measure 7 1/2 inches across and feature the same blue and white design with center fruit. The six Saucers measure 5 1/2 inches across. There are 5 cups, each are 2 inches tall 4 1/2 inches across including the handle. Cups are generous size. The set shows beautifully and is in excellent condition. There is a tiny pin head size chip in the blue paint on the spout . The set does not look as if it has been used at all.
