"The Griswold Mfg. Co, Erie, Pa. U.S.A.", "New American No 8" is molded on this waffle iron. "Patented 1901" is molded on the opposite side. It is made of cast iron. The wood handles are intact. This is an old waffle iron and has been used a lot over the years. The base ring is in good shape - no cracks. The set needs to be cleaned up.
