This merchant or butcher scale dates from as early as 1909 and was made by the Computing Scale Company of Dayton Ohio. Working condition. Measures 25" wide, 13" deep and 26" high. The firm was launched in 1891 when Edward Canby and Orange O. Ozias purchased the patents for the newly invented computing scale. Extremely heavy. This item requires professional packaging and packout, but may be shipped by UPS Ground. This item resides on the upper west side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.
