1940's sterling Arts and crafts Whimsey Fishing creel basket with FISH brooch and screw on earrings

Made of sterling and usually sold to tourists, Beau sterling would make pieces that would be a part of peoples wonderful memories in years to come. Mostly they made charm bracelets, so this set with the original brooch and earrings that are all sterling is a real delight to be able to show to you. The basket is fashioned after one that is a museum ( see photo of the original) that I was fortunate to be able to find. The earrings are both signed and are one of the Beau sterling earlier pieces and it is amazing to see that this dainty set has been kept together after all these years. The brooch measures 2 3/4" and it has the fishing rod with a chain delicate chain as the line. The earrings measure 3/4" wide. All of them have the fish trying to escape out of the top which is the nicest finishing touch to make this so whimsical and delightful! In great condition too!
