2 pairs of cape closure button sets. The metal frame encases a blue thermo-set plastic buttons that has the shank. In each pair the buttons are connected by a chain.

Each metal button ensemble is 1 7/16 across from flat side to flat side. The Measurement of the whole entire pair from the pointed edges across to the other button is 4 3/4". I think for sewing purposes the chain should be draped in the middle to give it the correct effect. So that is something to keep in mind before cutting the button holes.
