Remember that dramatic blue eye shadow Cleopatra wore? Well that was how she got it by grinding up lapis. Often worn as a talisman to to ward off danger, it has such a rich blue color with flecks of fools gold. These two large drops of genuine lapis luzi ( 28cts ) hang from hand made coil tops that are made to look like chain. The lapis measures almost 3/4" long x 1/2" wide. The earrings measure 1 3/4" from the top of the wire to the bottom of the tear drop lapis.
