4 tall Free form Modernist hand made Japanese Square Porcelain Cups Each one has a slightly different pattern texture and markings. The motif range from mountain, bamboo little characters to abstract. All have 4 feet that they sit on and all of them have a handle less folded over design with primarily charcoal mat glaze on the bottom portion with the top portion being of a glossy glaze with a graduated mixture of pine green on cream back ground that varies in color intensity. The insides are fully glazed. I assume that they are for tea drinking. They are all marked on the bottom in Japanese Characters. The condition is excellent on all 4. Although there is one that is significantly heavier than the others. I don't know what to make of that. They are very intriguing.
