A & P Food Stores Said the Soldier Ad 1946 This is an April 27, 1946 advertisement It is a nice color ad from A & P Food Stores for Eight O'clock Coffee. Ad shows a lady serving Eight O'clock Coffee to a soldier, sailor and marine and it reads, ""Said the soldier to the sailor to the marine, Swell as next months pay, smooth as a sailor's hornpipe, Tops would make a leatherneck sing."" In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
