Here is an advertising mechanical pencil. The pencil itself is larger, fatter, than many ones you see now. I do not have any lead and do not know if this is a working pencil. It does turn(twist), but that is all I can say. It has printing on the side: Hughes' Big Store Somerset, Kentucky. Then printed on what looks like paper and wrapped around the eraser is an ad for: The John C. Roberts Shoe for particular men. The eraser is hard and not usable. It is marked made by Autopoint pat. applied for. It measures approx. 5 3/4" long and approx. 1 3/8" around at the middle. The shipping fees quoted are for first class/No insurance in USA only.
