American Locomotive It Is A Steam Engine Ad 1944 this is a June 24, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from American Locomotive. Ad shows two elderly men at a railroad crossing, sitting in a horse drawn cart, train engine is going by and one man is saying to the other, You durn fool, it is a steam engine. Steam engine, my Aunt Sarah. Nice picture. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
