Ancient pre-Columbian polychrome ceramic zoomorphic vessel from the Guanacaste Nicoya culture of the 6th Period, 1000-1550 AD. The vessel is supported on a low pedestal foot and has a protruding animal head containing a rattle. It is painted all around with geometric patterns in shades of orange, brown, and black on a cream base.

 

MEASUREMENTS:

Width: 13 cm (5.12 inches)

Height: 11 cm (4.33 inches)

 

CONDITION: in good condition with no damage or repair showing its age and usage patina.
