ANtique Edwardian gold pearl lavalier necklace

This hand wired tiny seed pearl lavalier ( or lavaliere) is marked 10kt and it also has a hallmark which I can't make out on a different part of the pendant. WHen you see how TINY these real seed pearls are and how they are hand wired to create a beautiful frame for this blue stone, you will be impressed with the quality. Edwardian pieces are known for the tiny seed pearls on their beautiful jewelry and this piece is no exception. The stone is original so that is why I think it might be genuine. The genuine pearl drop at the bottom is the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful old piece of jewelry history. The pendant measures 2: long and it hangs from a lovely ornate fleur de lis bale. The chain is 16" long and is not marked so it may be gold filled. This is in very good condition and something that will stay a heirloom for generations to come.
