One of a series of views engraved by LT Swetnam for Mintons China Works, pattern No. 2024, here: "Criccieth Castle". The tile is printed in sepia on buff clay, a super combination lending the image real warmth, and finished in a clear glossy glaze. It is in very good condition with shallow lower edge nicks at right corner and just to its left, slight nick on right edge near top and several glaze misses along top edge original to the tile.
