If you collect silverware then you will appreciate this miniature salt spoon by Gorham that was made into a ladies brooch. There are two theories as to how these came about. One was that the spoons were the last remaining pieces of a set that was missing too many pieces so it was made into a brooch. The other was that they were made for ladies to "tempt them" into buying a full service of these little miniatures. Either way, they are delightful novelties or beautiful brooches. This one measures 3" long and is marked Gorham sterling pat. on the back. Just needs polishing.
