An excellent example of Neo-Rococo design is this Scottish sterling silver coffee pot of baluster form, hallmarked by James McKay, Edinburgh, 1847-48, with its sweeping ogee ivory-insulated handle and corresponding spout. It is approximately 12-1/2 inches high and 9-1/4 inches at the widest points and is superbly engraved with a Rococo "R" on one side; the condition is mint.
