We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful solid mahogany Duncan phyfe style double tier butler’s stand with a lazy susan top that dates from the 1860s to 1870s. It is in beautiful condition. It is a nice brown with a slight red tint on the solid mahogany. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was of European decent. It has a metal hand forged wingnut on the base and the stand will actually come apart. The top is a lazy susan. It has the plate rail end on the top and middle shelf. It has duncan phyfe solid mahogany legs that terminate in a brass cap foot. This is definitely a period table. The overall size is 22 inches round on the top shelf, 25 inches round on the bottom shelf, 37 inches high to the top shelf and 21 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is a great stand at a reasonable piece. It is a good honest period piece. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
