Antique primitive metal bread box, with roll top opening, glass knob, side handles, rear vent holes, and original paint and gold stencilling. This great display item measures about 9.25 inches high, 13.25 inches wide, and 9.25 inches deep; it weighs approximately 2.5 pounds. It has PORTER in raised letters on the top. The bread box, which appears to be steel, is in primitive condition. The paint is worn, the body is scratched and a bit battered, the glass knob is loose, and the interior shows oxidation.
