Antique Snake Venetian glass Sash buckle pin brooch GORGEOUS Art Nouveau serpent Pink hand made glass cabachon

What a rare beauty this aesthetic brooch is with its huge pink venetian glass center stone. The Pink Cabochon has gold glass blown into it to create a vine or snake like effect. Two snakes circle this stone in anticipation of potential thievery of this rare beauty. Back in the time when creatures were idolized by jewelry makers you found insects like spiders and scarabs and dragons and snakes to be set into the most luxuriest of jewels.  Made of gilt heavy brass this 2 1/2" x 2" brooch would have been used on a sash or even on a shirt.
