Antique Victorian Marble Top Etagere – Unusual #21967

We are pleased to be offering today this model of etagere that I have never seen in my over 50 years in the business. It is all incise carved with a fantastic carved crest, molded crown broken arch corners, 8 shelves supported with incise carved pillars and a white marble base with raised bevel burl panel trim and cabriole carved legs with clam shell carvings on all four legs and the center crest. The mirror is awesome with the old silver effect to it. One of the small mirrors on the side has a small crack in it. Overall it is in great condition dating from the 1870s to 1880s. The overall size is 55 inches wide on the base, 21 inches deep, 17 inches high to the marble base, 96 inches high overall. It has the original castors, which could be removed if you have an 8 foot ceiling. The mirror is 26 inches wide by 58 inches high. You can no longer purchase a new mirror with the silver effect that this one has. Above the very top shelves are the rounded molded corners that are 51 inches wide. It came from a very fine estate and I am excited to have found it. The mirror comes off the base for ease of shipping. Shipping starts at $400 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
