Antique Victorian Walnut Carved Bookcase #21916

We are pleased to be offering today this nice Victorian burl walnut front rope carved double door bookcase with a mirror gallery back that dates from the 1890’s. It is nice original condition with an unusual backsplash with double bevel glass mirrors and a bevel glass curio closet. The two glass doors are also bevel glass. It comes with the original key. It is in the original finish. It has barley twist posts and original cast iron wheels that work nicely. There is a dovetail drawer on the base with a burl walnut front. There are double drawers above the bevel glass doors that are also dove tail with burl fronts. There are carvings on the edges. The top has a dentil molding and carvings. It is a lovely bookcase that measures 50 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep and 76 inches high overall. The height to the top of the cabinet with the glass doors is 54 inches. It comes with original shelves that are fully adjustable that are 10 inches deep. It has a lot of unique items. The hardware matches the barley twist posts.
