Wood/Lead Army Air Force Rising Sun Aeronautics school Paperweight flag holder. This wooden paperweight is from WWII era. There is a hole on the top for a flag to fit in. There is a weight in the bottom to keep it heavy on the desk. Impressed on the leather top are the words Keep them Flying, Rising Sun School of Aeronautics US Army Air Force Airplane Graduate.. Some of the words are hard to read as they may have been originally in raised gold & now are just impressed in the leather. Very nice weight, not something that I see often. 2 1/2 x 1 1/2" Mint condition
