Art Deco Filigree Brooch Blue Stone & Dangles ADELE SIMPSON

Beautiful Art Deco Large Filigree Brooch with Dangles. It looks like an unsigned piece by ADELE SIMPSON.

The center of the brooch features a rich periwinkle blue rectangular shaped glass stone . The stone is cut in a stair stepped design that is very Art Deco. The is a wing like pattern that extend on either side of the the center stone in the filigree work. Each of three graduated dangles hold a different item at the end. There is a pearl like square bead, a lovely pink bead that has a floral pattern pressed in it. Then there is a hollow brass bead.

The full length is 4”

The diameter of the pin is 1 7/8"

The longest dangle is 2 1/2"

The shortest is 1 5/8"

The condition is nearly excellent.

There is a bit of tarnish but that only add to the charm of this vintage piece. The square pearl bead show a microscopic peeling of the surface coating on the edges. It is only noticeable with high magnification of a jewelers loop.
