Vintage ART DECO Brooch marcasite jeweled HINGED Pin

You only see pieces like this in books of antique jewelry and this one is one of the nicest I have seen. It has the erie green stones that luminate when you hold them near the light. They are Chrysoprase which is a stone used in antique deco pieces. The brooch is hinged so it actually moves when you do and fits more types of clothing. The marcasites are all original and the brooch has been really well care for. It measures 2" long and is a real beauty that has high quality. It has the initials EKL and then a tiny A at the bottom. Most likely a custom piece to have the A incorporated into the actual brooch. Once you own a marcasite brooch from the deco period, you will see how bright and sparking they are as well as how well they are made.
