Art Deco Period Erphila Fluted Pottery Vase - Czechoslovakia

Unavailable
Art Deco period Erphila fluted vase, in semi-matte turquoise glaze with turquoise fading to cream interior, made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920's or 1930's, and imported by Ebeling & Reuss, Philadelphia. Erphila is a label created by combining the initials of Ebeling and Reuss with the first two syllables of Philadelphia. This fluted columnar vase is reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts period and measures about 8.5 inches high and 4 inches in diameter. It has a dry foot around its glossy bottom. It is marked on the bottom with a red back stamp that indicates it was produced between 1920 and 1940. Impressed on the bottom is "4062". Condition is very good. There is a handful of tiny imperfections in the glaze as well as some areas of slight discoloration from use in the interior. Overall, a very nice, distinctive vase from the Art Deco period. Shipping and packaging is estimated to be $9 - $16, depending on the zip code of the buyer.
