Decorative Chinese stone carving of a potted plant against a flat wall. It is carved from either soapstone or some low quality  Jade..  Either way it is carved from a very hard mineral and does test out to be Jadeite on my gemstone tester. The colors are greenish yellow, and brown. There are some markings on the bottom but they are illegible. I can't tell if they are Chinese Character or somebody merely engraving a name or word.

The condition is good. There is a small crack line on the top. and a few insignificant nick on the bottom. the rest is fine. It would look great set in a small desk top fountain.
