Bakelite & Silver Mice Handled Cheese Plane  / Slicer .   Adorable mice crawling along the green handle that I initially thought to be bakelite.     The reason I cannot say for sure is becaue on closer inspection on the blade thers is lightly etched the number " 1986".    So I assume that indicates a date therefore I cannot claim it as the old bakelite from the early 20th century.   Or some perhaps recent bakelite or lucite. However it certainly has the look.     In any event the condition is excellent and it is very cute!
