From the artist's statement: "These photographs of boulders and thighs, faces and fingers, angels and angles come together in a way that suggests the poetry of vision. My camera dances from one thing to the next and settles upon an image. I exult in the chance glance, the fresh meeting of the eye, at the moment when the elements are in harmony and the senses heightened. In the composition I look for the dynamics of tension and balance of form to bring to light the magic that lies almost unseen beneath the surface of appearances. What we pass by, what we miss while looking at the obvious, what is always there before our eyes but seldom see" that is what I am trying to show in my photos."
