Our silvered metal chandelier in the Baroque style dates from the early 20th century and has eight electrified candles and ceiling plate.  Measures 39 in tall and 24 in across.  Apparently cast in spelter with silverplated finish.  Maker is unknown.  In cartouches on the ceiling plate are the marks of the letters SS and the letter C below, plus a scepter with cross.  The style and quality is comparable to the works from E.F. Caldwell of the 1900s to 1910s.
