Batik Quilt Blue Aqua Pink Orange Tropical 75 x 82

Offering this colorful strip pieced quilt, measuring 75 inches x 82 inches, which would fit a twin or full size bed; or a nice big throw quilt or wall hanging. Made of sixteen different colors of quilt shop quality hand blocked / printed batik fabrics in perfect tropical island colors! - Bright pinks, rose and lavenders like an island sunrise; deep purples and blues like evenings on the beach; blues and aqua like the sea in the Caribbean; soft golden yellows like the sun in the tropics; assorted prints of leaves, swirls, abstract lines, and more. The quilt consists of various length strips and surrounding border is what quilters call piano keys - short small strips. Back of quilt is made of four large blocks of pale blue and yellow fern leaf and pale blue and pale orange/yellow sunflowers. I machine pieced the quilt top and it was machine quilted by our local quilt shop, here in Ohio U.S.A.. It is in a tropical leaf pattern - 10 stitches per inch which offers longer durability of the quilt, this is a brand new quilt, never used, just finished on 12/30/06. A very cheerful quilt to brighten a winter day or a colorful, but cool quilt for those hot summer nights! Photos do not do justice to the beautiful colors and stitching in this quilt.
