Beech Nut Gum And Opening Day Ad 1938 This is a April 26, 1938 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Beech Nut Gum. In the ad it is opening day at the base ball field. A small boy is handing a package of gum to the gate keeper and the gate keeper is motioning the boy on into the game. Ad reads, Opening day, and every day, Beech Nut Gum is the password to pleasure. Picture reminds me of a Norman Rockwell picture, but it is not signed as such. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 3/4 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
