Ben Hogan Champion Comes Back Article 1950 This is a January 23, 1950 two page article with black and white pictures. Article is titled, A Champion proves they can come back. Article tells how on February 1949, Hogans car was struck head on by a Greyhound bus near Van Horn, Texas. The champions collar bone and one rib were broken and worst of all, his pelvis was crushed. For 58 days he lay flat on his back in an El Paso Hospital. Fellow golfers came to visit him and left convinced that Hogan never would play golf again. Great story of his first game back. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the picture. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 14 inches tall.
