Very large gourd with a beaded netting over the bottom bulge part. It makes a loud shaking noise when it is shook. It's purpose is musical instrument, African Shakere Rattle Noise maker . Although is is also for ornamentation. It is 13" tall and 12" wide.

The condition is good. The gourd has some unevenness in color. It is not coated with any type of finish. So I don't know if the blotchy area are natural or from water stains. The beads are plastic pony beads woven together with a sturdy natural colored fibers material.
