Interesting carved bird of cow horn. It is 6 1/2 tall. The condition is good. There is some scratches that don't see to be part of the design at the base. One eye hole is bigger that the other. That could be they way it was carved. I think it would looks cool with some glass or stones eye glued in place.

I don't know much about the history. It is just one of those hand crafted items that drew my attention.
