Birds Rugs Magic Rug of Twentieth Century Ad 1927 This is a March 1927 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Bird and Son Inc of East Walpole, Mass. Ad shows a lady in a green dress and red shawl standing on a carpet high in the sky. Picture by John Goss. Ad reads, The magic rug of the twentieth century. Magic because it takes the drudgery out of housework. Lovely pastels in this picture In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
