Bizarre vintage Jelly Opal Ring Dragon egg Primitive setting size 6 /12

 

This is the most unusual stone I have ever seen. Inside you can see the opal colors flashing from under an opaque egg colored matt barrier. Maybe this is where dragon egg came from?. he setting is quite large (almost 1 3/4" long). THe ring is a size 6 1/2 and it is completely hand wrought. You can tell from the patina that this is really old.
