Bordens A Child Is Not Bad Ad 1948 This is a February 17, 1948 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from The Borden Company. Ad shows Elmer the bull, Elsie the cow and Baby Son Beauregard.. The baby has broken Elmers pipe and he is angry. Elsie is saying, A child is not bad just because he does naughty things. She calms Elmer down by promising him some Borden treats. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
