A bakelite stretchy. The plastic segments test as bakelite with semichrome. It appears that someone did not know any better than to stick one of the segments with a hot pin. It is shown in one of the pics.The metal spacers appear to be brass and to have been gilded at one time. When I found this, the elastic was broken, so have restrung them on elastic. The bracelet segments measure approx. 1 3/8"X1/2"X3/8 at thickest end. The shipping fees quoted are for priority/No insurance in USA.
