This is a very nice, brass bell that has a figural shape like an owl at the base with the bell forming a sort of umbrella over the owl's body.  The inside of the owl is hollow, but is well weighted for the purpose and the bell ringer and pusher are in working order, makes a good clear sound.  It stands about 7.5" tall overall and the bell is 3" diameter at the widest diameter.  

A very nice service call bell from days gone by.
