Brass Over Wood Cottage House Shaped Tea Box Caddy that is lined with tin.     The wood is carved and the brass sheeting is molded over and pressed in.      It is not marked but it was brought back from England by a fellow antique dealer friend of mine.    It measures 5" high x 5" wide and 4" deep.

It is made from solid wood .     I may be mistaken by calling it a tea box as it could have been  for tobacco .   

The condition is excellent for age.  There is natural aging of the wood and patina on the brass.
