Bridgeport Hatchet Boy Scout Patented

This is a nice clean and sharp vintage boy scout's hatchet marked with the Boy Scouts of America insignia/logo on the steel.  It is also marked by the maker, "Bridgeport", and marked with the patent number Ü.S. PAT. 118801663 MADE IN U.S.A." The patent number reflect a patent date back in 1914.  This hatchet is in working order, nice sharp cutting edge no damage except for a part of one handle section chipped off as shown in the pictures.  The wood handle segments are still well attached and usable.  The steel is clean, no rust, some dings on the flat end from using that end to hammer, not bad.  The nail puller slot is good, most likely not used.  Weighs about 1.5 pound, with 3"cutting edge, 16" long overall.
